Meals

Three meals are served throughout the day plus snacks, they include:

  • Breakfast between 8.00am - 8.45am
  • Milk drink and biscuit at 10.00am
  • Lunch and dessert at 11.30am
  • Afternoon tea at 3.15pm

Spring & Summer Menu's

Week 1

Monday
Lunch: Vegetable and bean Curry, with sultana rice naan bread and mango chutney
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Brown and white bread sandwiches with various fillings, fresh fruit and raisins

Tuesday
Lunch: Cod kedgeree (or veggie fingers & rice) sweet corn and green beans
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Whole-wheat crackers with assorted toppings, fresh fruit and raisins.

Wednesday
Lunch: Home made pork toad in the hole, (or veggie sausage) with new potatoes, peas and cabbage with onion gravy.
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Spaghetti on toast fresh fruit and raisins.

Thursday
Lunch: Lamb mince (or veggie mince) pasta bolognaise, with carrots and Swede
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Toasted Teacakes with assorted toppings fresh fruit and raisins.

Friday
Lunch: Roast chicken, (or Veggie quorn fillets) with roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Mini rolls with savoury toppings, cherry tomatoes cucumber fresh fruit and raisins.

Week 2

Monday
Lunch: Jacket potatoes, with tuna or grated cheese, chicken and mixed peppers Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Whole-wheat crackers with assorted toppings, fresh fruit and raisins.

Tuesday
Lunch: Pasta twirls in a tomato and basil sauce with carrots and broccoli and garlic bread
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Homemade tomato soup with brown bread fingers with butter, fresh fruit and raisins.

Wednesday
Lunch: Cod in parsley sauce (or vegetable pie) with cheesy creamed mash, sweet corn and peas
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Bagels with savoury toppings, fresh fruit and raisins.

Thursday
Lunch: Lamb mince (or veggie mince) chilli con carne and kidney beans, boiled rice, with carrots and Swede
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Muffins with assorted savoury toppings, fresh fruit and raisins.

Friday
Lunch: Homemade cheese and tomato quiche with herby new potatoes and beans
Dessert: Fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Mini pitta bread, with dips, fresh fruit and tomatoes and cucumber sticks

Week 3

Monday
Lunch: Pork sausages and bean casserole (vegetarian sausage casserole) with boiled rice mixed vegetables
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Whole-wheat crackers with assorted toppings, fresh fruit and raisins

Tuesday
Lunch: Tuna pasta bake, (or veggie pasta bake), sweet corn with garlic bread
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Mini rolls with savoury toppings, fresh fruit and raisins.

Wednesday
Lunch: Roast chicken (or Veggie quorn fillets), roast potatoes, cauliflower & broccoli gravy
Dessert Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Beans on toast fresh fruit and raisins

Thursday
Lunch: Home made turkey meatballs in gravy with boiled rice (or tofu casserole) with seasonal mixed vegetables
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Brown bread sandwiches and butter fingers, raisins and fresh fruit.

Friday
Lunch: Lamb mince (or veggie mince) Sheppard?s pie, cabbage and Swede.
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Crumpets, savoury toppings, fresh fruit and tomatoes and cucumber sticks

Week 4

Monday
Lunch: Mexi lamb (or veggie mince) with mixed peppers, lettuce and cheese on a tortilla wrap.
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Whole-wheat crackers with assorted toppings and fresh fruit and raisins.

Tuesday
Lunch: Fish patties (or veggie bakes) with creamy mashed potatoes, cauliflower cheese
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Spaghetti with brown bread and butter fingers, fresh fruit and raisins.

Wednesday
Lunch: Sweet and sour chicken with noodles, peas & sweet corn
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Pitta breads with dips, cherry tomatoes, celery sticks and cucumber, fresh fruit and raisins

Thursday
Lunch: Jacket potatoes, with grated cheese, ham and cherry tomatoes
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Toasted teacakes and chunks of cheese, fresh fruit and raisins.

Friday
Lunch: Cheese and tomato macaroni bake with Swede and carrots,
Dessert: Fresh fruit or yoghurt
Tea: Hot dogs in a roll, fresh fruit and raisins
