Meals

Three meals are served throughout the day plus snacks, they include:

    • Breakfast before 8.45am
    • Milk drink and biscuit at 10.00am
    • Lunch and dessert at 11.30am
    • Afternoon tea at 3.00pm

Week One

Monday

Lunch

Vegetable and bean curry, with sultana rice, naan bread and mango chutney

Tuna Pasta Bake, (or veggie pasta bake) in a tomato and herb sauce with sweet corn and French beans

Whole wheat crackers with cheese spread, tuna mayonnaise or marmite, fresh fruit and raisins.

 

Wednesday

Pork Sausages, (or veggie sausages) new potatoes, peas and cabbage with onion gravy

Spaghetti on Toast, raisins, orange slices

 

Thursday

Lunch

Lamb mince (or veggie mince) pasta bolognaise, with carrots, swede, marrow and garlic bread.

Friday

Roast chicken, (or roast quorn) creamy mashed potatoes, broccoli, greens and gravy

Cod in parsley sauce (or vegetable pie) with cheesy, creamed mash, sweet corn and peas
