Over the years we have received many compliments about Jamie being a good boy, intelligent, well mannered etc etc etc and as parents he makes us very proud. However, a lot of the praise really should go to you and the staff for teaching him so much- right from wrong, good from bad, learning to share, good manners, colours, numbers, writing, the list is endless. We are sure with all your hard work, and enthusiasm the nursery will continue to be such a success and will remain such a wonderful place to be. Sunshine day nursery provides a good standard of day care for the children. All aspects of the provision are well organised, and effective use is made of the staff, space and resources to ensure that the children are well cared for. The staff works to a comprehensive set of policies and procedures, which they understand and consistently implement. Staff gives high priority to the children's health and safety in the centre. All children are well supported and encouraged in their development and play.
There is good partnership with the parents and carers. They are given an introductory brochure and policies and procedures are accessible. They know what is going on in the centre through regular newsletters and informal contact with the staff. Open days and parent's evenings are arranged to discuss children's progress and development.
