Activity Plan
The pre-school's activity plan has the 7 areas of play that are out throughout the day. With each activity it's given a stepping-stone that the staff would like the children to get of each activity. However if the children do not use each activity in this way then that is fine.
This also helps the staff to do observations on the children under each activity. This helps the staff to see if they have met the stepping-stone in the way it was set out.
The activity plans work in a 4-week block so the staff make good use of the different toys. If the toys get repeated at any stage then the stepping-stones will change.
