Jelly Tots
Our Jelly Tots room is a spacious, bright and cheerful room catering for up to twelve busy toddlers up to two years of age.
The room has half the floor space carpeted, with lino flooring on the other half to accommodate meal times and messy play.
The Jelly Tots sit in groups for meals enjoying the social opportunity and language this brings.
After their lunch the children have a sleep on their beds then an afternoon drink of milk.
On the carpet area, they have access to a range of activities which are devised to foster their all round development using the Birth to Three Matters framework.
They have group times morning and afternoon when they enjoy stories, songs and dancing.
The lino area houses their messy activities. The children have the opportunity to explore sand, water, corn-flour, soil, jelly swamps, play dough as well as painting and sticking activities using different implements.
A daily information sheet displayed on the Tots parent notice board will give you lots of information about your Tots day.
A key worker will be responsible for following, observing, recording and planning for the continued progress of your child's development creating a personal folder with samples of their artwork, photos and written reports.
